COVIS is a hardscaping and outdoor contracting company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since 2010 we have focused on one thing: outdoor living areas that are beautiful, cosy and actually functional, built for homeowners across the Triangle at a price they can afford. Stone patio installation, retaining walls, fire features and outdoor kitchens are the everyday work.
We are licensed for both hardscaping and general contracting, which means the structural work, the permits and the inspections stay with us instead of being handed to somebody else halfway through. That is most of what people mean when they talk about the COVIS difference.

COVIS holds both licences, North Carolina GC# 101894, so structural work, permits and inspections stay in-house rather than being handed off.
Every project gets a measured drawing at no charge, so you approve a layout rather than a description. Complex sites get referred on to a registered landscape designer.
We supply the sketch, the plot-plan layout and the material spec your association asks for. You collect the neighbour signatures; we do the rest.
Flat work and wood-burning features often need no permit. Anything with gas, plumbing, electricity or a structure does, and COVIS acquires the permits and schedules the inspections.
Before work starts you approve a selection sheet covering every material going into the job, so nothing arrives on site as a surprise.
Where something has to come out first, an old concrete slab or a tired patio, COVIS handles the demo and the removal as part of the project.
The person who walks your yard on the first visit is the person who stays with the project. Between them they have spent decades in pavers, natural stone and construction.

Marc's background is 20 years of outdoor living experience, most of it in the paver industry. Driveways, patios and pool decks are his home ground, and he has spent the rest of that time on full outdoor living spaces.
